My bedroom is so sunny that I am wearing sunglasses in bed.
I feel like a wuss for complaining about the humidity and heat. But ohhhh how I'd love to spend the entire day under my faucet.
This stale, hot air is nothing like Chengdu's, or so I've heard. But reminding myself of the heat that is to come doesn't make me feel any cooler. I am sticky from an hour of hitting bald golf balls, and sitting on my fuzzy blanket with this laptop burning my thighs only makes me more grumpy.
What to do?
Well, that's enough whining from me. It's time for some Rosetta Stone Mandarin lessons. Zaijian!

Clack!
I'm back!
In one month I will be in Chengdu. O_O
Thinking about China makes me want to scream. And shop. I need to buy deodorant to take with me to China. And some grown-up looking sandals. I think they call them heels.
Clack, clack, clack.
China, that's the sound of me coming.
Unless I cheat and wear slippers the entire time... or the pink sneakers I got at Sports Authority today. But then that would detract from my efforts to look like a teacher, or at least, not like a student. :)
